GoFlamenca presents Tablao Night!

Join us for Tablao Night featuring Bianca Rodriguez!

Friday, November 22nd, promises an extraordinary evening of authentic flamenco.

Featuring guest artist Bianca Rodriguez and organized to coincide with We Flamenco Fest, this special tablao will celebrate the iconic props of flamenco. We will visit rhythmic castanets, the majestic bata de cola, the emotive mantón de Manila, and the cheeky abanico. Dancers Drea Pacot and Genevieve Obregón will join Jose Manuel Tejeda on guitar and Celia Corrales on vocals to complete the cuadro.

Doors open 7:30 PM, show starts 8:00 PM. We hope to see you there!

ABOUT BIANCA RODRIGUEZ:

Bianca Rodriguez graduated with a BA in Dance Flamenco from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.  Upon studying at UNM she performed with Flamenco companies Yjastros, Juan Siddi, and EntreFlamenco.

Bianca toured with Flamenco Vivo in a North Carolina residency where she discovered her passion for teaching. Under the direction of Carola Zertuche/Theatre Flamenco she worked with legendary singer Juana la del Pipa, Adela Campallo, Pastora Galván, and Carmen Ledezma.

Some of her proudest moments include: performing with Grammy winner Antonio Rey for his show, Dos Partes de Mi, along with Mara Rey in 2019, and dancing in José del Tomates álbum debut Plaza Vieja in 2020. She has performed at the Fountain Theatre in Los Angeles and Brava Theatre in San Francisco.

She choreographed for 100 years of Flamenco, Bay Area Flamenco’s presentation at Herbst Theatre. A big moment for Bianca was to dance in San Jose Opera’s “Carmen” in 2022.  She has even taken her talent internationally and has performed in Madrid at Tablao La Cueva de Lola.
